Dr. Flint is a native of Kaysville, Utah and attended local schools in Davis County. He served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in London, England. After his mission, he attended Weber State University where he pursued a degree in Chemistry and received several awards and scholarships, including: Analytical Chemistry Student of the Year, Standard Examiner Top Student Scholarship and other university and chemistry department scholarships.
After college, he pursued his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Marquette University School of Dentistry and narrowly survived freezing to death in the Midwest. While there he studied all areas of restorative dentistry for all ages and spent time researching Temporomandibular Joint Disorders and therapy, pursued honors classes in periodontal surgeries and implants and spent much of his volunteering time working in the pediatric clinic.
He received an externship opportunity in Wales, Wisconsin where he worked as a family dentist. He also was chosen to be on the admissions committee for all three years he was in dental school.
Dr. Flint is a member of several national and local dental organizations, including: American Dental Association (ADA), Utah Dental Association (UDA), Weber District Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).
Dr. Flint and his wife are big kids at heart and love being at the next big Disney movie and enjoy spending lots of time with their family. Dr. Flint has enjoyed volunteering in organizations such as “Give Kids a Smile,” the Mission of Mercy, and volunteering to do dental exams for the athletes of Special Olympics.
