Infant Care and Toddler Visits
We get questions frequently about dental care for children. 33% of the patients we see are children. We treat children of any age and our philosophy is to provide positive experiences so children grow up without a fear of the dentist. Our doctors are patient, friendly, and understanding.
When should a child have their first dental visit? A child’s first visit should take place when their first tooth erupts. We coordinate these infant care visits with their parents cleaning so we can evaluate the child’s mouth, give care instructions, and evaluate skeletal and jaw growth. The first cleaning we attempt is at the age of 2 and first x-rays at about the age of 4. Our doctors love to treat children. Schedule your child today for excellent experiences and a lifetime of great oral health.
